Caring about the planet, nature and her residents, is what we value most.

From the moment we started building, to the moment we start receiving you as a guest, sustainability has been our priority. We are striving to achieve our Green Key Silver certificate by June 2022,  which is the largest sustainability mark for the tourism and leisure industry in the Netherlands.

Cleaning & Maintenance

We choose our cleaning and maintenance partners carefully. All products which are used to clean the public areas and hotel rooms are free from chemicals and toxins. Besides this, we have partnered up with Hotels For Trees, an initiative which is converting room cleaning cost savings into newly planted trees.

Food and Beverages

Eating food which is healthy for yourself is important, but eating food which is good as well for the environment is even better! In our kitchen, we follow the principles of the Dutch Cuisine, which means we only work with seasonal, local and healthy products. Furthermore, we bottle our own purified water, which reduces plastic waste tremendously. All our coffee and tea is UTZ certified and last but not least, our aim is to offer you as many Dutch spirits, beers and wines as possible!

Interior

Throughout the whole building, we are being as sustainable and eco-friendly as we possibly can. From windows which can’t be opened to prevent wasted air-conditioning energy, to matrasses which are toxins-free and not harmful to the environment. With all of the eco-friendly materials which were used during construction, to the many water and energy saving measurements, we are doing our part to keep the environmental impact as low as possible.
